Hi. I'm having a problem with the "Search and Edit Data/Collection Objects" function. Whenever I click it, the little specify icon at the bottom of the screen spins for several minutes, then I get this message: TQueryBuilder .AddFieldByCtrlID: Node does not exist. I've tried this on multiple computers and the same thing happens every time. It's been like that for at least a few weeks, and I don't remember seeing it before we upgraded to 5.0. All the other searches seem to work ok (collecting events, localities, etc.), and I can still search collection objects through some existing searches I created in the previous version of specify. So it's not really keeping me from doing anything, it's just kind of a minor annoyance. Any thoughts? -john counts KU Museum of Invertebrate Paleontology

It sounds like there may be a problem with the default query for your database. Open one of your working searches and then save it as the default. Then try to go through search and edit data again. If that does not work let us know and we will take a look at your database.
